"ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY"

This policy is to inform the participant and the parents of participants of the Framingham Youth Football and Cheerleading program of our "Zero Tolerance Policy".  In recent years it has come to the attention of the Executive Board that some participants and/or parents of participants use foul language on the field, lack of respect towards coaches and board members. The Executive Board of the Framingham Youth Football & Cheer program has given full discretion to all board members to enforce this policy.  The following will not be tolerated:

  • Possession and drinking of alcoholic beverages on the premises and the possession or use of illegal substances on the premises at any Association/League/Conference function. (at home/away games and practices).
  • Protest a game official, judge or Commissioners decision in an aggressive demonstrative manner, which might incite violent or aggressive fan involvement.
  • Use of abusive or profane language or actions at anytime at any Association/League/Conference function.
  • Treat the program, board members, coaches, all children and adults while at any Association/League/Conference function with disrespect.
  • Any physical violence, abuse or harassment towards any parent, coach, official, board member or player.

Failure to follow this policy will at least result in an incident report to Framingham Youth Football & Cheer Inc. Board of Directors.  In some instances, depending on the gravity of the incident, dismissal may be immediate for a participant or parent with the possibility of notification given to the Framingham Police Department and or Framingham Recreation Department.

We represent the Town of Framingham and should do this with dignity and honor during all games either at home or away.

Sincerely,

Stephen Roschen
President
